Join Marisa your local Forest Therapy guide to celebrate our wonderful blooming wattles in the town of Warburton. This is a 2 hour fully guided walk around the local area including curated Forest Therapy exercises for your health and experience.

This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our beautiful Australian wattle with a Forest Therapy walk. Warburton is an amazing town surrounded by trees, nature, flowers, the yarra river and native wildlife. It is the perfect setting to enjoy the blossoms from the wattle trees that are in the area.

My name is Marisa and I live, work and play in this beautiful town of Warburton. I am a fully credited and certified Forest Therapy Guide since 2019. I would like to invite you to join me on the 1st of September to celebrate Wattle Day. This experience is open to everyone to enjoy the space that nature creates for us. I find that every time I work with nature it delivers the experience that is right for those who are present at that time.

Forest Therapy is the opportunity to connect with nature others and yourself. It is an invitation that presents specific activities that are designed to slow down the body and mind. It is a truly enjoyable experience that only asks you to be present in the moment.

Originating in Japan in the 1980s forest therapy {Shinrin Yoku}, is a researched based health practice that reduces blood pressure the stress hormone cortisol and increases our natural killer cells. The practice follows the standards that are set by the International Nature & Forest Therapy Alliance "INFTA" .

Enjoy a 2 hour walk, through the township of Warburton where you will be immersed in some beautifully flowering wattle trees. The walks will also incorporate some of the Yarra River to include a number of wonderful forest therapy exercises. Meeting at the carpark along the Yarra river behind the local shops around 10.15 for a 10.30 start. Please bring along a drink bottle, walking shoes, appropriate clothing to weather conditions, a sun hat, glasses and sunscreen. This program follows COVID SAFE however it may be subject to changes in accordance with government restrictions. Start time 10.30am to 12.30pm Please note there are toilet facilities behind the shops for your convenience.
